BANK

Excel Foodbank now operates on a referral based system. In order to collect a food parcel you must live in WV2 or WV14 and you will need to be referred by a professional. This could include (but is not restricted to):

-
Your child's school
-
Your Doctor
-
Social worker
-
Health Visitor
-
Citizen's Advice Bureau
-
Job Centre
-
Wolverhampton City Council
-
Local MP's office
-
Probation Service
-
Wolverhampton Homes

If the organisation or person that you ask to refer you does not have a referral form, they can email us for one. Referral forms must be received by 10am on Monday in order to collect a parcel that day. Please note that we can currently fulfil 30 referrals per week. A maximum of 3 parcels per person can be collected in a 6 month period.

Food parcels must be collected between 12pm and 2pm on the Monday after the referral was made.

When collecting a parcel, our team will also be on hand to offer support to help people overcome their financial challenges. This may include signposting to other organisations, helping to check that a client is claiming all the benefits they are entitled to, help with form filling etc. We will also offer to pray for people's situations since we are a church who believe in the power of prayer, in the name of Jesus.

When collecting a parcel we ask that you bring ID and also recommend bringing information about any benefits you are in receipt of, so that we can do our best to assist you.
